Our work
Real repairs from this shop, documented from damage assessment to delivery. Every photo is our own work — nothing staged, nothing stock.
This page is deliberately empty rather than padded. A before/after comparison is only honest if it's the same vehicle, shot from the same position at intake and at delivery — so we're building that into how every car is documented, instead of pairing unrelated photographs or using stock imagery.
Completed comparisons, with a written summary of what was actually done, will appear here as those repairs finish.
Documented repairs, not marketing theater
Every body shop says it does quality work. We'd rather show the paperwork. This page collects before-and-after case studies from repairs completed at our North Hollywood facility — the same vehicle, the same angle, photographed at intake and at delivery, with an honest summary of what the repair actually involved: which panels were repaired versus replaced, whether structural work was needed, what calibration the manufacturer's procedures required.
We hold this page to a rule that makes it slower to fill and worth trusting: no stock photos, no borrowed images, no pairing an unrelated damaged car with an unrelated clean one. If a comparison appears here, both photographs are ours and both show the same vehicle. Repairs currently in progress are being documented this way now, and completed comparisons appear as those vehicles deliver.
What a documented repair looks like
The photographs are the visible part; the documentation behind them is what protects you. A complete GEM Collision repair file includes intake photos of the damage, the written estimate and how it evolved after disassembly — the supplements process explained plainly on our insurance help pages — structural measurements where the repair involved the vehicle's geometry, scan reports bracketing the repair, and the final quality-control checklist from step twelve of our process.
That file matters at lease turn-in, at resale, and any time a future buyer's inspector asks what happened to the quarter panel. A repair that's documented reads as maintenance; a repair that's mysterious reads as a discount. It's also exactly the standard dealerships require for certified pre-owned programs — which is the volume that keeps this shop sharp.
While this gallery grows
Want to see the shop behind the results? Tour the facility — the measuring bench, the spray booth, the estimating offices. Want to understand what happens between the before and the after? The repair process walks all twelve stages. And if your own vehicle is the one that needs the before-and-after treatment, start your estimate with a few photos — it takes about five minutes.
Before-and-after photography, done right
One practical note for anyone comparing shops by their galleries: a trustworthy before-and-after pair is shot from the same position and focal length, at intake and at delivery, on the same vehicle. Composite galleries and stock pairs are common enough in this industry that it's worth asking any shop — including us — how their photos were made. Ours are made the boring, verifiable way, which is exactly the point.
Let's understand the damage and determine the next step.
Photos are enough to start. A written preliminary estimate, a clear explanation, and no pressure.
